But a moment later it's already gone.
On my last night in Queensland, just west of Port Douglas where the forest meets the sugar cane fields, I buried my old french sandals (chucked them into the bush) A peaceful last resting place, with a view on the mountains of the Daintree NP to the north. I dearly miss the sandals, bought 10 years ago in France (St Germain-Laval, 42) but they were beyond repair. Life goes on.
